Winter 2025 Update: Unified Pricing, Premium Unlimited, and a New Builder Experience

Winter 2025 Update: A New Era for Competition Tracking

We are thrilled to announce the release of our Winter 2025 Update, a significant release that brings more flexibility, power, and value to your competition tracking experience. This release introduces a unified pricing model, a new unlimited subscription plan, premium themes for scoreboards, and the next generation of our Leaderboard Builder.

Unified Pricing Model

We've simplified our pricing to make it easier for you to choose the right plan for your needs. Previously, Leaderboards and Scoreboards had different pricing structures. Now, we've unified them under a single, consistent model.

Whether you're creating a Leaderboard or a Scoreboard, the pricing is now the same:

  • Free Plan: Create basic boards with essential features. Perfect for casual use and small events.
  • Premium Single ($9/board): A one-time purchase that unlocks premium features for a single board forever. No recurring fees.
  • Premium Unlimited ($99/year): Our new subscription plan for power users.

Introducing Premium Unlimited

For organizations, schools, and event organizers who manage multiple competitions, we're introducing the Premium Unlimited plan.

For just $99 per year, you get:

  • Unlimited Premium Boards: Create as many Leaderboards and Scoreboards as you need.
  • All Premium Features: Access to all current and future premium features across all your boards.
  • Priority Support: Get faster responses from our support team.

This plan is designed to offer incredible value if you run more than 10 competitions a year.

Premium Single: Perpetual Access

We want to clarify that our Premium Single option remains a one-time purchase. When you pay $9 for a board, you own the premium features for that specific board forever. There are no hidden subscriptions or recurring costs for single board upgrades.

New Feature: Scoreboard Themes

We're bringing the power of customization to Scoreboards! Premium users can now choose from a variety of Scoreboard Themes to match the look and feel of their event.

  • Cyberpunk: A futuristic, high-contrast theme for esports and gaming.
  • Sports Arena: A classic, bold look for physical sports.
  • Corporate Clean: A professional, minimalist design for business events.
  • And more!

Customize your scoreboard to create a truly immersive experience for your participants and audience.

Leaderboard Builder V2 (Beta)

We've completely rebuilt our Leaderboard Builder from the ground up. Builder V2 offers a more intuitive, faster, and reliable experience for creating and managing your leaderboards.

  • Real-time Preview: See your changes instantly as you edit.
  • Improved UI: A cleaner, more organized interface.
  • Better Performance: Faster loading and saving times.

We are currently rolling out Builder V2 via an A/B test. This means some of you will see the new builder, while others will continue to use the classic version. We're gathering feedback to ensure V2 is perfect before a full rollout. If you see the new builder, please let us know what you think!

A Note for Legacy "Ads-Free" Users

As part of this update, we have retired the "Ads-Free" plan. However, we value our early adopters. If you previously purchased an "Ads-Free" plan, your boards have been automatically migrated to the Premium Single status. You now have access to all premium features (not just ad removal) for those boards, at no extra cost.

What's Next?

This update lays the foundation for even more exciting features in the coming months. We're working on advanced analytics, more themes, and deeper integrations.

Thank you for being part of the TrackScore community. We can't wait to see what you build with TrackScore 2.0!
