Getting Started

Step 1: Create Your Scoreboard

Start by navigating to the scoreboard creation page and selecting the basketball template.

Dashboard → Scoreboards → Create Basketball Scoreboard
Step 2: Configure Teams

Set up your teams with names, short names (for display), colors, and initial timeout counts.

Team Name: Full team name (e.g., "Lakers")
Short Name: 3-4 letter abbreviation (e.g., "LAL")
Color: Team's primary color for visual identity
Timeouts: Number of timeouts available (typically 3-6)
Step 3: Game Settings

Configure game duration, periods, and special basketball rules.

Time Settings:
• Game Duration: 48 minutes (4 × 12min quarters)
• Period Count: 4 quarters
• Overtime: 5 minutes
Basketball Rules:
• Shot Clock: 24 seconds
• Team Foul Limit: 10 per quarter
• Bonus Threshold: 7 team fouls
Step 4: Display Options

Customize what information is displayed on your scoreboard.

Show team timeouts

Timer Controls
Start/Pause: Control game clock
Reset Shot Clock: Reset to 24 seconds
Timeout: Stop clock for timeout

+3 Points: Field goal beyond the arc
-1 Point: Correction/mistake

Once created, your basketball scoreboard gets a unique public URL that you can share with spectators, commentators, or embed in livestreams.
